Report: Sky reveal how far apart Inter and Spurs are in their valuation of Eriksen

Christian Eriksen continues to be the talk of North London with his future appearing to be ever increasingly in doubt.

The Dane was once again named in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven for last night’s FA Cup third round replay win against Middlesbrough.

Reports from Sky Italy as mentioned by their sister station in the UK, Sky Sports claim that Tottenham are locked in transfer talks with Inter Milan over the sale of the 27-year-old.

The two clubs appear to be somewhat off in their valuations of the midfielder with Inter having offered £8.5million while Tottenham are holding out for closer to £17million to allow him to leave this month.

Eriksen is said to be keen to move to the Serie A giants with personal terms not expected to be an issue.

January represents the last opportunity for Spurs to cash in on the former Ajax player, who will be able to walk away as a free agent in the summer.

He revealed just days after the loss to Liverpool in the Champions League final at the start of June of his intention to seek a new challenge away from Tottenham, whilst inviting contact from Real Madrid only for a move to Spain to fail to materialise (Ekstra Bladet).
