A longtime Albuquerque judge has died.
Pat Murdoch, who served as a district court judge in Bernalillo County for 26 years, died Monday.
Murdoch left the bench in 2011 when he was arrested for the rape of a prostitute. That case was eventually dropped for a lack of evidence. Murdoch maintained his innocence, but it cost him his career.
Murdoch, who had polio, spent years coaching wheelchair basketball teams.
Murdoch was 67 years old.
