Ever Night

This podcast is brought to you by InterMix, publisher of Ever Night, the sexy new paranormal novella from New York Times bestselling author Gena Showalter.

Rose Pascal is swept into a dark, haunting realm every year on her birthday, only to return home the next day. She dreads each visit…even as she craves appearing before the realm’s warrior king, a deliciously maddening man who has spent his life hunting and killing her kind—with good reason.  They are supposed to be enemies, but neither can deny the passion sizzling between them. With time running out, can they find a way to be together forever?

ITunes is being evil and won’t download the podcast for me. 🙁

  2. Robert says:

Same thing’s happening for me, through iTunes. Happens sometimes, though. I’ll keep trying later today to see if it was just a glitch 🙂

  3. SB Sarah says:

Hey folks – all fixed. Would you believe that it helps to upload the right file? *headdesk*

    Sorry about that!

  4. Robert says:

Woot! Looks like it’s downloading now. Shall we go get you some coffee, so you survive the rest of the day?

  5. SB Sarah says:

Ha! I’m drinking some now – but thank you! Coffee makes everything better.

  6. Andrea says:

Just finished the podcast. Very interesting author. She hits the nail on the head about pricing for ebooks. I can’t help but feel ripped off by ebook pricing. I also have a very short list of authors who I will pay over $5-6 per book for. I have a pretty heavy reading habit going on and currently ready between 3-6 novels a week. These are all ebooks. And in all honesty I cannot afford my own habit. I’m actually going out to get a library card for our local library so that I can use Overdrive through them and start borrowing books. I regularly go through Amazon and pick up free books that don’t appear to be garbage just to have something to read. I scour the internet for freebies too and supplement wherever possible. It’s not that I don’t think writers deserve my buck, it’s that with some of the current pricing I just can’t afford to buy what I want to read. And with the amount of self publishing going on currently, there is a LOT of really terrible books out there. I am finding it harder and harder to just randomly pick up ebooks to read and not discover more self published, poorly edited, unprofessional crap.

  7. jw says:

Yas, Rachel Aaron’s Pardox series is really great scifi-romance.

  8. Make Kay says:

I don’t think I’ve ever read a bad Rachel Aaron interview, but this may be the best ever! Thank you so very much, both of you

  9. Amy says:

Nice Dragons Finish Last is $1 on Amazon’s Kindle store! Sold! 🙂

  10. To @Andrea: You got to get in on that library card! My library has saved me soooo much money. And I still buy books 🙂

Also, that writing 2k to 10k has been on my wishlist for awhile but it’s only on Kindle and I have a Nook. I might have to just get it and read it on my phone.
