Disabled Veteran and family in need

My family and I are going through a hardship right now. My Wife is a Disabled Veteran of almost 21 years in the US Army. She's undergoing various medical treatments and tests from injuries sustained from her last deployment. We recently paid someone $6,500.00 to redo our roof, but the roof was not done properly. Come to find out, the person who did the work is an unlicensed contractor. We had put all of our money together and even borrowed some to get this done. He caused numerous damages to our home and used products inside our home meant for exterior use only. The kids rooms are a disaster and they are not able to sleep in their beds nonetheless, be able to go into their rooms. There is mold, lead, and asbestos in the home. We don't have a kitchen light as the guy who attempted to do our roof removed it and cut a big hole into the ceiling in attempts to trace the leak. Also, our duct work was tampered with when the job was done and now it's making a sound that it wasn't before. We need to get it properly insullated and fixed so we don't have a heat source in our home at this time. My Wife suffers from PTSD and the sound it makes activates her symptoms. She cannot drive or be left unattended due to her medical conditions. We have 4 kids and are in need of any help we can get to repair damages, for our mortgage, utilities and other bills while she is being treated and a determination is made for her military disability. We found out it can take about 2 years to obtain an answer. Any help is appreciated. I lost my job while taking care of her. In the mean time, all of the expenses are adding up and the home continues to fall apart.  Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless!
