Officer McDonnell's Family

On Monday, April 17th, Officer Johnathan McDonnell was en route to a priority call involving a man with a machete at a local grocery store. While responding, he crashed into another vehicle. Unfortunately, in the other vehicle was a mother and her two young children. They were all transported to the hositpal, her daughter is still in critical conidition, and tragically her young son passed away. Officer McDonnell and his family are heartbroken over what has happened. Being a husband and father of three boys, he suffered severe damage to his leg and will not be able to walk for possibly 6 months, leading him unable to work.

They would never ask for support, but his wife, a nurse, has to take off of work for up to 6 months to take care of their family. We are asking for support for 6 months of  APD base salary.
