Position Summary

Perform a wide variety of clerical duties in support of an assigned function; develop and input correspondence and data into a computer terminal; assist and inform the public on departmental policies and procedures and assist with basic sorting, filing, copying and/or clerical accounting activities.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements

Related education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

High school diploma or GED, plus two (2) years of clerical experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 
Possession of a New Mexico Driver's License (Class D), or the ability to obtain by date of hire
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six months of hire date
Must possess a New Mexico Department of Workforce Connection typing test with a minimum score of forty (40) net WPM. To schedule a typing test please call the New Mexico Department of Workforce Connection Typing Test Unit at (505) 841-9320.
When assigned to the Albuquerque Family Advocacy Center (Albuquerque Police Department):
Bilingual, fluent written and oral to translate Spanish to English and English to Spanish preferred.
